The Governance Review is DRepTalk’s written account of Cardano governance, each edition covering a few epochs. The questions below explain how to read an edition and how far to trust its numbers.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Governance Review?
A written edition on what happened in Cardano governance over a few epochs: which proposals passed, which expired, and what voters said about them. New editions appear once the period's data is ready.
Why do the numbers differ from other pages?
Each edition reports the position at the end of its period. Other pages may show newer votes and outcomes. Proposals still open at that point remain marked as open in the review, and what became of them belongs to a later edition.
What do the voting percentages mean?
DRep percentages measure voting power, not the number of people voting. Abstentions are excluded, and power that did not vote generally counts against approval. The guide to a governance action page explains the counting in detail.
Where can I check the sources?
Follow the proposal links in the text and open "Sources and further reading" below the article, which lists everything the edition took from proposal documents, vote rationales and other pages. Each edition also links the saved dataset it was written from and notes any gaps in the available data.
What happens if something is wrong?
Corrections are dated and listed at the top of the article. The saved dataset behind an edition stays as it was, so a correction changes what the article says, not the record it was written from.
How do I hear about a new edition?
Sign in with your wallet and connect browser push or Telegram in your notification settings. A new edition then arrives as a message with a link to it, and it also shows in your on-site inbox. No email address is involved. The "Governance Review" switch in the settings turns the messages off again. Corrections to an existing edition do not send a new message.
